This reference outlines all of the key property-level fields used throughout Chimney Home.


These fields appear in Data Explorer, Performance Dashboards, and various engagement views.

Where it helps, we include how the value is calculated, whether it can be updated by the member, and where the data comes from.

Home Value & Equity Fields

Field

Description

Estimated Value

Midpoint of Chimney’s valuation range. This is the main value used across the platform.

Estimate (Min)

Conservative end of the valuation range. Can be used for Borrowing Power calculations.

Estimate (Max)

Upper end of the valuation range. Can be used for Borrowing Power calculations.

Tax Assessed Value

Value reported by the local tax assessor.

Value Change Since Purchase

Change in home value since purchase.

Formula: Estimated Value – Purchase Price.

Total Equity

Estimated equity in the home.

Formula: Estimated Value – Loan Balance.

Borrowing Power

Borrowing Power shows how much the homeowner may be able to borrow against their home based on the FI’s backend settings.

Field

Description

Borrowing Power (Low)

Conservative borrowing estimate. Typically uses Estimate (Min), FI Max LTV, and Loan Balance.

Borrowing Power (High)

Aggressive borrowing estimate. Typically uses Estimate (Max), FI Max LTV, and Loan Balance.

Example Formula:
(Home Value Estimate × Max LTV) – Current Loan Balance

Ownership & Verification Fields

Field

Description

Is Verified

Indicates whether the member’s name matches the owner name on the deed.

Owner Occupied

Whether the owner lives at the property.

Deed Owner Names

Names listed on the deed.

Deed Owned by Corporation

Whether the property is owned by a corporation or LLC.

Property Characteristics

Field

Description

Property Type

Property classification (single-family, condo, etc.).

Square Feet

Total finished living area.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

Number of beds and baths on record.

Tax Value (Total)

Overall assessed value.

Tax Value (Market)

Market-based assessed value.

Tax Value (Land)

Portion of assessed value attributed to land.

Tax Value (Improvements)

Portion attributed to the structure(s).

Tax Assessment Year

Year the assessor last updated the valuation.

Purchase Price

Recorded sale price.

Purchase Date

Recorded sale date.

Loan & Mortgage Fields

Field

Description

Loan Balance

Current mortgage balance. Based on public records, but members can update it if it's outdated.

Loan-to-Value (LTV)

How much of the home is financed.

User & Account Metadata

Field

Description

Onboarding Complete

Whether the member has fully enrolled in Chimney Home.

Created At

Timestamp showing when their Chimney record was created.

Source

How the user was added.

Examples: auto-enroll, digital-banking-sso.

Platform User ID

Internal identifier (matching your digital banking platform).

Offer Metadata

(Appears when viewing offer engagement or saved offer reports.)

Description

Status

Offer status (live or draft).

Offer Type

Mortgage, HELOC, Refi, Personal Loan, Insurance, etc.

Offer URL

Destination URL for the offer’s CTA.

CTA

The call-to-action shown to members (e.g., “Apply Now,” “Talk to a Loan Expert”).
